About Indian Markets

Indian Markets is an independent publication covering Indian equities, the economy, and personal finance. We write for investors who want a clear read on the Nifty and Sensex, the rupee, RBI policy, and the companies and sectors that move the index — without the hype.

What we cover#

Our desk organises its work into four beats:

  • Markets — the Nifty and Sensex, sectors, small- and mid-caps, and the flows (FII/DII) that move them.
  • Economy — RBI policy, inflation and rates, the rupee, GST and fiscal signals, and how the macro backdrop feeds through to markets.
  • Companies — results, IPOs, and the businesses behind the tickers, from large-cap compounders to new listings.
  • Personal Finance — SIPs, mutual funds, taxation, gold, and building a portfolio that survives a full cycle.

How we work#

Every article starts from a primary source — an exchange filing, an RBI release, a company result, a dataset — and says plainly what the evidence supports and what it does not. We favour falsifiable claims over narrative, and we flag uncertainty rather than paper over it.

What this is not#

Nothing here is investment advice. We do not know your circumstances, your risk tolerance, or your time horizon, and we are not registered to advise you on any of them. Treat our analysis as one input among many, and consult a SEBI-registered adviser before acting.
